Help Wanted:
- We are looking for a few good people to join our team. We are looking for scientists, engineers and support staff. In most cases you will be asked to do what you do best for the team or since it is a team effort, you may be asked to do whatever the team needs done. This is an all-volunteer team and if you join us the other team members will be counting on you. To be considered a member of the team and to qualify for a share of the prize money, you will have to put in two or more hours a week and stay with the team through the end of 2007. You may quit at any time, but you will not be allowed to compete against us.
- The team is divided into three parts:
- Long distance members who work where they live and send the results to HQ by Internet.
- Local members who live within driving distance of the Traverse City workshops
- Pit Crew who will travel around the country with the team's vehicles.
- If you want to be part of this historic adventure, we will try to find a place on the team for you. All the positions on the team are very important, all the tasks no matter how trivial they may seem are important to move the project forward. If you are on the team, no mater what your assignment is, you are on the team and can take credit for all of the teams accomplishments - you are part of making it happen.
